Heatwave Arena is a dynamic Trainer-focused expansion released in Japan on March 14, 2025, spotlighting beloved Trainer’s Pokémon archetypes. This set features Ethan, Cynthia, Arven, and Misty, each paired with their signature Pokémon. The booster pack artwork highlights three of these iconic Trainers with their featured Pokémon ex:
- Cynthia & Garchomp
- Ethan & Ho-Oh
- Arven & Mabosstiff
The main set includes 63 cards (excluding the 29 secret rares), offering a compact yet powerful lineup centered around fan-favourite Trainer partnerships.
Each booster box contains 30 booster packs, and early box purchasers received a special 3-card promo pack featuring SV-P Promo Feraligatr, Pikachu, and Toxtricity ex—the winning illustrations from the Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest 2024 (while supplies lasted).
