Scarlet & Violet Era Collection

The Scarlet & Violet Era marked a thrilling new chapter in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, kicking off with the release of Scarlet ex and Violet ex, introducing Generation IX to the TCG. This era began with the box legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon as the central figures, bringing the TCG to Regulation G and phasing out Regulation D cards shortly after. The first pair of base expansions also introduced exciting new mechanics, including Pokémon Tool cards as a unique class of Trainer cards, as well as the introduction of AR Rarity and SAR Rarity cards, which largely replaced the previous HR Rarity cards.

With the release of Pokémon ex and Tera Pokémon ex, this era replaced the Pokémon V, VMAX, V-UNION, and VSTAR mechanics from the Sword & Shield Era. The first subset, Triplet Beat, brought a spotlight to the Generation IX starter Pokémon—Meowscarada, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval—each appearing prominently on the pack artwork and receiving exclusive Pokémon ex cards in RR, SR, SAR, and UR rarities.
