White Flare pairs with Black Bolt to celebrate Generation V, showcasing all 156 Pokémon originally introduced in the Unova region. Every Pokémon card in this expansion receives a secret rare AR (Art Rare) variant or better, making White Flare an exceptionally collectible set for fans and completionists. These sets also reintroduce Tinsel Holofoil cards, adding a classic shimmering finish to modern card designs.

In contrast to the original White Collection and its game counterpart, White Flare is themed around Reshiram, the majestic white Legendary Pokémon at the heart of the expansion. Its fiery aesthetic and elegant visuals give the set a distinct identity that complements its partner expansion, Black Bolt.

White Flare—alongside Black Bolt—also debuts the new BWR (Black White Rare) rarity. Released in Japan on June 6, 2025, White Flare offers two booster pack formats:

• Regular Packs — containing 7 cards with 2 guaranteed Holofoils
• Deluxe Packs —  containing 35 cards with 1 AR rarity or higher
